Acting was my first love. I learned the craft with Al Pacino and Dustin Hoffman, and performed alongside Barbra Streisand. I fell in love with casting when I realized I could use my wealth of experience and caring for actors from a different angle. I understand actors because I was one. I'm most passionate about working with exceptionally gifted unknowns.                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                ~ Irene

Irene Stockon, CSA, was raised in Washington DC and graduated from University of Maryland where she discovered her passion for acting and the theater. Among her fellow acting students were Al Pacino, and future Oscar nominee Frederick Forrest, whom she would go on to cast in the film RAIN WITHOUT THUNDER.  Irene performed in summer stock with Dustin Hoffman, Peter Fonda and Barbara Streisand and in many New York productions, receiving great notices for STOP, YOU'RE KILLING ME also featuring Mark Margolis (Breaking Bad, Better Call Saul) written by James Leo Herlihy, who would later go on to write Midnight Cowboy.
